Qatar Airways Announces Sponsorship in UEFA EURO 2020™ As An Official Airline
Qatar Airways is partnering with the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) for the UEFA EURO 2020™, the airline announced in a press release on Monday, February 22. The national airline of the State of Qatar will be the Official Airline of UEFA Euro 2020™, a prestigious tournament in Europe and across the world.
UEFA Euro 2020™, the 16th edition of the tournament, is of one-month duration, taking place from June 11 to July 11 this year. Twenty-four elite teams from Europe are competing for the glorious title in the championship which matches will be hosted by 12 different cities. The host cities for the tournament are Amsterdam, Baku, Bilbao, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Dublin, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome, and St. Petersburg. The final match will be played in Wembley Stadium in London on July 11, 2021.
Qatar Airways is set to manage all the flights to the host cities either directly or through airline partners. Besides, the airline’s brand will also be featured on display-panels on the stadiums that are hosting the tournament’s matching. Altogether 51 matches will be played throughout the championship.

Qatar Airways is the first global airline to receive the 5-Star Covid-19 Airline Safety Rating by Skytrax – an international air transport rating organization. Skytrax also awarded the airline as the “World’s Best Airline” in the 2019 World Airline Awards.
Qatar Airways have been sponsoring different sporting teams and events, and as the official airline sponsor for UEFA Euro 2020™, the airline is certainly elevating its portfolio in sporting partnership.
