Emirates Announces Flight Suspension To South Africa Until This March

On 14 February 2020, Emirates announced that all the flights to South Africa will be suspended until 10 March 2021, due to some government recent directives that restrict the entry of travelers originating from South Africa, into the UAE in its official website.

Any costumers who hold tickets with a final destination in South Africa cannot fly from their point of origin. The Dubai-based airline regrets announcing such news. However, customers who want to receive updates on the flight suspension, or want to rebook tickets can contact Emirates Contact Centre.

Along with that, Emirates also announced the suspension of flights from Nigeria(Lagos and Abuja)  to Dubai until 10 March 2021. 

The passengers who stayed in Nigeria or whose flight was through Nigeria in the last 14 days, are not allowed to enter UAE.

Following the news, Emirates wish to lift all the suspension, once the conditions allow.
