BMW’s i Vision Dee: The Game-Changing Electric Luxury Car with Fully Customizable Color, Advanced Technology, and Immersive Experience -Unveiled at CES 2023

BMW is taking the stage at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2023 in Las Vegas to showcase its vision for the future of digital experiences in vehicles. The star of the show is the BMW i Vision Dee, a futuristic mid-size sedan that boasts a sleek design language and advanced technology. The “Dee” in its name stands for Digital Emotional Experience, which represents the company’s goal of creating a stronger bond between people and their cars.

BMW is pushing the boundaries of what’s possible with digital functions in cars. The BMW Head-Up-Display extends across the full width of the windshield, providing drivers with a glimpse of what the next generation of vehicles will look like. This innovation is set to be available in the models of the NEUE KLASSE from 2025.

In addition to this, BMW has also refined its use of color-change technology for its exterior in up to 32 colors. This feature adds a personal touch to the car and sets it apart from other vehicles on the road.

According to BMW, the car is equipped with BMW’s latest iDrive 7.0 infotainment system, which includes a 12.3-inch touchscreen display and gesture control. The car also has a variety of driver assistance systems, including lane departure warnings and automatic emergency braking. Additionally, the car is equipped with a 5 G-enabled communication system that allows for faster data transfer and provides a more seamless experience for the driver.

BMW Group’s Head of Product Management, Peter Henrich, said “The BMW i Vision Dee is our interpretation of a four-door, fully-electric Gran Coupe, and a glimpse of what we can expect from the BMW brand in the coming years. With this concept vehicle, we are showcasing our technological leadership and our commitment to sustainable mobility”.

BMW has not yet announced when this futuristic will go into production, but the company has stated that they will have 12 fully-electric vehicles and 13 plug-in hybrids on the market by 2025 as part of their strategy to reduce CO2 emissions by at least a 30% by 2025.

BMW also envisions the car is integrated with smart home technology, allowing owners to control their homes from the car’s touchscreen display.

BMW made a bold statement with the i Vision Dee concept car at the CES. With its advanced technology, long-range, and sporty design, the i4 could be a serious contender in the luxury electric vehicle market. The car’s ability to act as a “companion” for its owner, both in the real and virtual world, is a unique and exciting feature.
